Our role

Healing Al Hajar is a community platform. We help people find spots and log healings. We do not, and cannot, physically inspect every report. We do not guarantee that any spot is safe to visit, that any photo is authentic, or that any healing has actually occurred as described.

If you go to a spot, you are responsible for your own safety. Check weather, terrain, hazards. Tell someone where you're going. Bring proper gear. If something feels wrong, leave.

If you find a report that seems fake, dangerous, or in the wrong place, please report it via the Report-a-problem button on the spot detail. Our stewards review these and act quickly. But ultimately, the community is responsible for the truth of the platform.

Hazards specific to UAE outdoor cleanup

You acknowledge the risks of outdoor activity in the United Arab Emirates, including but not limited to:

  • Wadi flash floods — possible without warning, even when weather where you are is clear. Can travel 30+ km from rainfall in mountains.
  • Heat and dehydration — particularly May through September, midday sun is dangerous regardless of fitness.
  • Hazardous waste — sharps, chemicals, batteries, medical waste, pressurised cans, ordinance. Do not handle these. Mark and report.
  • Wildlife — snakes, scorpions, sun spiders. Wear closed-toe shoes; do not put hands into rocks/crevices unsighted.
  • Cliff and slope falls — much of the Hajar range is unstable; loose rock common.
  • Lack of mobile signal — large parts of the mountains and remote wadis have no coverage.

The Service's Safety & Guidance content is informational only; it does not replace your own judgment, training, or local knowledge.
